We are Ray and Sarah Little, owners of Scissortail Meadows Farm. Our farm is a land run era farm, that has continuously been farmed since 1889, prior to statehood of Oklahoma. They are both (at least) fourth generation farmers whose families have participated in farming for many decades.
While Sarah was raised on a farm, Ray’s family operated Farm and Home Supply stores in several states across the midwest. In 2018, they decided it was time to return to the farm, and together, they have built a small cow-calf operation that is Brahman influenced, both meat and laying poultry, bees and one onery donkey!
While Ray’s experience is more in the mechanical and technical field, Sarah has worked as a graphic artist and agency owner for the past 25 years. Together, they work to help support agriculturalists.
